Meet Amy
Fabrication Technician
Amy joined the Sound Prosthetics & Orthotics team in early 2025 as our O&P Fabrication Technician. Her role involves fabricating custom prostheses and orthoses. She takes a lot of pride in making sure each device is built with precision and care, with attention to detail. Amy is known for being meticulous and fastidious. She believes every step matters when it comes to creating a device that will help improve a patient’s quality of life.
Behind the scenes, Amy brings a unique spark to the team—balancing her meticulous work ethic with her quirky personality. Outside of work, she loves keeping her hands busy and her creativity flowing. Whether it’s knitting, quilting, drawing, or throwing clay on a pottery wheel; she’s always up to something creative. She finds joy in singing and playing the ukulele, and is also interested in taxidermy. When she’s not creating something, she’s often out in nature—kayaking, hiking, whitewater rafting—or challenging herself with cold plunges and hot yoga.
Amy’s dedication to her craft and her vibrant personality makes her a valued member of our team. She’s committed to helping each patient move forward with confidence and comfort.
